De-escalation & Conflict Management with Breakaway Techniques
Our De-escalation & conflict management Course is for anyone who has potential to work in environments where, in some cases children or adults may become hostile, such as Schools, youth work, customer services, HR, the care sector, prisons etc. This is a comprehensive one day course that covers a wide range of topics, enabling all participants to fully understand what conflict is and how it effects our working environments. Candidates will look at strategies to de-escalate situations while safeguarding them selves and operating within the current UK laws.
Candidates will look at risk assesing every situation to judge if using force is necessary and what levels of force can be used, and current break away techniques.
Courses can be delivered on site, at your premises or you can book onto one of our scheduled courses, running monthly at one of our Harrogate venue on the Rudding Park Estate All our scheduled courses come with Lunch and refreshments.
