Understanding County Lines Level 2 RQF

Understanding County Lines Level 2 RQF is a regulated Qualification. This qualification is aimed those who have, or are working with young people and adults at risk or vulnerable and who may be exposed to the risks associated with county lines. The qualification is aimed at parents, carers, community members and leaders as well as teachers and education support staff.

A multiple choice question paper must be completed at the end of the course.

A regulated certificate will be awarded on completion.

Course Content Includes

•Understand the principles of county lines, in relation to:
The definition of county lines
Terminology  related to county lines

•Understand the link between county lines and the abuse of young people and adults at risk, in relation to:
different types of abuse associated with county lines
example of how abuse occurs
the risk factors of an individual becoming involved with gangs
the signs an individual may display if they are involved in county lines

•Understand how to support an individual involved with county lines, in relation to:
barriers to engaging with an individual involved with county lines
actions adults can take to support an individual involved with county lines
how to report concerns

  • Sickle cell anaemia

Certification

Assessment is ongoing by the instructor in respect of the student’s practical skills and there will be multiple choice question paper to answer in respect of their knowledge. A three year Award in Paediatric First Aid certificate will be issued subject to assessment.
